Denis Maas was Schooled at Waterkloof Primary and Pretoria Boys High School. University training at The University of the Witwatersrand graduating in 1980 with Bachelor of Architecture Cum Laude.
Experience in Luxury Private Residences, Cluster Housing Schemes, Apartment Buildings, Office Buildings, Hotels, Aviation-related structures, Warehousing and Manufacturing/Production facilities, Golf Clubhouses, Theme Parks, Shopping Centre food/entertainment courts, over a period of more than forty years.
Various other luxury residences at Century City, Pearl Valley, Val de Vie, Constantia, Llandudno, Clifton, Franschhoek, Hermanus, Romansbaai Estate and elsewhere.

B Technical Designs is situated in the Northern suburbs of Cape Town.
Company managing director, Brett Rall, started his career in 2003 under the apprenticeship of Maas & Coetzee Lifestyle Architects. B Technical Designs was established in 2022 and continues to work in collaboration with Denis Maas.
Brigitte Mathey completed her Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2014 and then further studied a Bachelor of Architectural Studies degree graduating in 2020 both at the University of Cape Town.
Her aim is to develop small homes and vacation homes for young professionals or couples entering into the property market.
